New Year is almost here and our team decided to make a small contribution to the festive mood of Kharkiv citizens, and made two panoramas on the Freedom Square (the largest in Ukraine, by the way!), where the main Kharkiv Christmas tree is located.

We shot panoramas twice to get the day version with a bright sun, and the evening version with a bright Christmas tree 🙂

There is a Christmas Fair with lots of different street food – from barbecue to candy apple – and tasty and fruity mulled wine. There is also a large skating rink, which is popular among the citizens and city visitors, especially young people.

If you have kids, bring them too! They can ride horses and ponies on the territory of the fair. Funny bears and hares from cartoons and fairy tales will be happy to take a picture with you and your children. You can also meet Santa Claus in his house from 14.00 to 18.00, or send him a letter.

The main attraction of the fair is, of course, the Christmas tree. Traditionally, Kharkiv has the tallest Christmas tree in Ukraine – 36.7 meters! It is very beautiful in daylight, even more beautiful in the evening, it shimmers with rainbow colors and bright patterns – even glows in the colors of the Ukrainian flag!

We would also like to mention that the fair is open until January 15, so do not miss the chance to visit it.
