On July 18, 2013 on the Strelka (Arrow) Square, which is located at the confluence of Lopan and Kharkiv rivers, a monument to the Holy Apostle Andrew was opened. The architect of the monument is sculptor Olexander Ridny. The opening was dedicated to the 1025th anniversary of the Epiphany of Kievan Rus.

The monument, according to its creators, is a symbol of the time movement and a glance into the past of the city simultaneously.
