Lopan Strelka (Arrow) bridge is the first pedestrian bridge across the Lopan river and one of Kharkiv sights. This bridge is a favorite place of Kharkiv for couples in love.
In 2011 the bridge was reconstructed by Sergii Chechelnytsky – the chief architect of Kharkiv. Lopan Strelka bridge itself is located in the park Strelka (Arrow), which was reconstructed and reopened in August, 2010.
Square “Strelka” is located at the confluence of rivers Lopan and Kharkiv. According to a legend, this is the exact place Kharkiv originated from.
